SOLD Victorian Flat Cut Garnet Pendant
A beautiful and elegant pendant from the Victorian period, c1860s. The pendant is made from 9ct gold that has a very slight rosy tint to it. It has beautiful round flat cut garnets set in individual frames that have been arranged in a navette shaped design. At the centre is a stunning garnet that has been cut to follow the line of the frame. There is a little garnet drop that hangs at the bottom to complete the piece. The garnets are such a soft pink to red colour and are likely foil backed in their closed back settings. The piece is fairly large and would make a lovely statement on the neck.
The pendant hangs on a solid antique 9ct gold chain that could be original to the piece. It is a perfect gold colour match.
