This item is out of stock

A stunning pair of earrings in their original state. The earrings date to the Victorian period, c1860, and are made from 15ct gold. They have been made in the style of an infinity knot, said to represent everlasting love as the knot never ends. This was a common motif in the Romantic period. Enamelled on the front of these beautiful knots are little forget-me-not flowers, adding to the romantic theme. The knots of the earrings alternate between a texture and plain giving the earrings an eye-catching look and the earrings have their original tops; quite a rarity nowadays.
