SOLD Victorian Pear Shape Rose Diamond Earrings
These stunning earrings are from the Victorian period, circa 1860. They have beautiful rose cut diamonds throughout, with the main focus being two stunning pear shaped rose diamonds towards the bottom of the elegant style. The rose diamonds are beautifully white in their appearance and are lovely examples of this cut of stone with a pretty dome shape rising out of the setting. The diamonds are all set in silver, as was customary at the time, and they have gold ear wires. The earrings have been adapted from something else, perhaps a larger piece; this has been done expertly.
