SOLD Victorian Red Spinel & Pearl Cluster Ring
A beautiful ring from the late Victorian period, c1880s. The ring has the most beautiful pearls, which are very likely to be natural as they appear to be all original to the ring and all have a slightly baroque shape and lustre. They are not perfect pearls and that gives them a wonderful appeal. At the centre of this pretty circle is a bright red spinel. The spinel also appears to be natural with some evidence of minor inclusions inside the stone. This ring is very elegant and the unusual colour of the central gemstone really gives this classic ring a modern twist.
