SOLD Victorian Ruby & Diamond Gypsy Set Ring
A beautiful ring from the Victorian period, dated with an inscription of Feb 4th 1865. There is also an inscription 'W to S' on the inside of the shank. The ring is made from 18ct gold and has the most delightful bright pink ruby at the centre with two old mine cut diamonds, one either side. The diamonds are lovely and chunky allowing them to sit above the traditional gypsy setting. This ring is a beautiful quality piece and the pink of the ruby is eye-catching enough to see amongst a stack of rings or to glow when worn alone.
