SOLD Victorian Ruby & Moonstone Flower Pendant
A stunning pendant from the late Victorian period, c1880s. The pendant has the most beautiful rubies of varying cuts with a deep, yet vibrant pink colour. They surround a high domed oval moonstone at the centre and the central design is topped by a leaf to create the look of a flower. The difference in cuts of the rubies really highlights the beauty of this piece and the moonstone has a lovely blue glow. All the gemstones are set in silver to the front with a 9ct gold back.
The pendant hangs on a solid 9ct gold chain that measures 18" long

Age - C1880s
Size - The pendant measures approx 25mm long with the bail adding an extra 6mm to the length. It is 12mm wide at its widest point
Condition - Very good. One of the smaller rubies is damaged (top of flower, first right from centre)
Weight - 2.5g.
