    This pretty locket is from the late Victorian period and is made from sterling silver. It is a ridged silver frame decorated with a pretty cross design. The frame holds two bevelled edge heart shaped pieces of glass. These are held in place by the frame that has a screw fixing at the top. The locket is open to the front and the back allowing a photo to be seen from both sides. A simple and elegant piece. The locket hangs on an 18" sterling silver chain.

    Size - Heart measures 29mm with the bale adding an extra 11mm to the length.

    Condition - Very good. There is a little nibble to the edge of the glass inserts that cannot be seen when the locket is together. Noted for accuracy only.
