SOLD Victorian Style 9ct Gold Banded Agate Drop Earrings

A pretty pair of earrings from the middle of the 20th Century, made in the Victorian style. The earrings are made from 9ct gold and appear to have been made in the Victorian Revival era, around the 1940s-50s. They are beautiful banded agate drops with a lovely torpedo shape, slightly shorter in length than the styles that are normally seen from the Victorian era. This gives them a lovely alternative look in the ear. To the top is a domed agate in a closed back 9ct gold setting. The setting appears to have been hand made, though the cut out design is a little more raw in style.
