SOLD Victorian Turquoise, Garnet & Smokey Quartz Drop Earrings
A stunning and unusual pair of earrings from the Victorian period, c1880s. The earrings are made from 9ct gold and have beautiful faceted smokey quartz drops as their main feature. The drops are set in lovely scalloped edged gold settings that have been studded with pretty red garnets. The garnets glitter prettily and compliment the transparent hue of the quartz beautifully. To the top is a trilogy of turquoise and the earrings are finished with shepherds hook fastenings. I believe that the top and bottom are a marriage, though they are both antique components and are a lovely unusual match.
