This item is out of stock

A pretty and popular style pendant from the middle of the 20th Century. The pendant is directly from France and is made from 18ct gold, marked with the eagles head on the bail. It also has the makers mark to the front, A. A., for Alphonse Augis, a jeweller that was based in Lyon. He first made these charms in 1907 and the inscription is taken from a poem with the meaning of 'I love you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow'. The plus represents the more and the minus is the less. These medallions have become extremely popular in recent times and this one is a lovely example with a sun ray design to the front, the plus in white gold and three little synthetic rubies in the minus. The heart shape is also particularly lovely.

This charm will come on a 14kt gold fill chain as pictured.
