    A wonderful sparkly pair of earrings from the mid 20th Century, based on an Edwardian design. The earrings are made from 9ct gold, which is marked on the back, and have spectacular sparkling rhinestone clusters to the front. The stones have an incredible amount of scintillation and you would be forgiven for thinking that these gems were the real thing! The stones have been claw set in their closed back setting and the backs have a pretty fluted design in the gold. The hooks are replacements to the originals and are also marked as 9ct gold with a later hallmark.

    Age - C1950s, tops dated Birmingham 1972

    Size - The clusters measure approx 12mm in diameter. The earrngs are around 17mm long excluding the hooks

    Condition - Excellent
