• SOLD Vintage 9ct Gold Slinky Link Bracelet

This item is out of stock

A beautiful wide gold bracelet from the second half of the 20th Century, dated with import marks for Sheffield 1975. The bracelet is made from a marvellous length of elongated tube links with balls on either end.  It seems that the balls have had a gold wire threaded through to create a lovely slinky bracelet, which moves easily and effectively on the wrist. A wonderful bracelet that really creates a statement.

This bracelet is fully hallmarked as 9kt gold with both a 9ct and a 375 mark. It appears to have been made in Italy, a slight anomaly as Italy does not generally produce 9kt gold. The clasp is also marked with BREV, which stands for Brevetto, the Italian term for license or a patent. This would all tie in with the fact that the piece has British import marks.
