• SOLD Vintage 9kt Gold Yellow Stone Stud Earrings

This item is out of stock

A pretty and simple pair of stud earrings from the mid 20th Century, c1960s. The earrings are made from 9ct gold and have large yellow stones set in claw settings. A little quirk regarding these earrings is that one yellow stone is a citrine whilst the other is a yellow paste stone. These earrings could very well have been made this way, possibly in error, as the stones have very similar cuts and are a good match in appearance. The settings have pretty heart scroll designs to the side and the earrings have threaded posts with screw on backs making them extremely secure in the ear.

The price has been adjusted to allow for the fact that one stone is glass.
