Antique Chunky Watch Chain, 15 1/2"
A stunning statement watch chain necklace from the turn of the last Century. The necklace is a lovely solid sterling silver curb chain with slightly graduated links. It has a t-bar and dog clip clasp and has the lion passant on each link. To the centre link and on the t-bar, the makers mark of E.W&S is present for E Whitehouse & Son. There is an anchor for Birmingham on one of the links, though the date stamp has rubbed in this area. The t-bar has the date stamp of 1900; this is also a time when this particular maker was active. Such a gorgeous statement necklace of the utmost quality.
