Antique Cupid Charm
A wonderful charm pendant from the turn of the last century, c1900. The charm is a lovely solid piece made from 9ct gold. The gold is a rich colour and looks more like 18ct. The charm depicts cupid in full flight with pretty wings and playing his trumpet. Cupid is said to be the god of desire and is a classic symbol for Valentines Day. The trumpet is said to represent power and announcement. This charm has been beautifully made and exhibits plenty of lovely details.
