Antique Diamond Crescent Locket

£0.00
sold out

A lovely locket from the turn of the last century, c1900. The locket is made from solid 9ct gold, which has a pretty rosy tone to it. It is certainly more rose than yellow as 9ct gold often is from this period. It is a puffy circular shape with an applied crescent to the front. The crescent is studded with diamonds and has little balls around the edge. The balls are a little damaged, please see the pictures, and the crescent is likely to have been applied after the locket construction, though it is certainly from the same period and is secure. Inside, the locket has frames on each side that can be removed to place your own photos behind. It closes securely with a good click.

The chain pictured is for display only.
