Antique Diamond 'X' Ring
A pretty ring made from Victorian components, though it came to me as it is. The central ‘X’ design is silver topped with a gold back and is set throughout with mixed cut diamonds. The diamonds sparkle prettily in the silver setting and there is a lovely twist detail at the centre. I am not sure how this ‘X’ was originally designed; perhaps it was a stick pin? This has been set expertly on a Victorian shank with decorative, floral shoulders that narrows at the back. The gold is 18ct gold and is a lovely bright colour. It is certainly an interesting design and works well.

Size - The ‘X’ measures approx 10.2mm by 8.2mm.
Ring Size - UK N US 6 3/4 This ring could be resized as the back of the shank is plain.
Condition - Good. Two diamonds look to be replacements. The shank is fairly fine towards the back, though is secure. The shank is a little out of round.
Weight - 2.65g
