Antique Double Snake 'Sorry' Ring
An unusual and interesting ring from the Victorian period. The ring is made from around 12ct gold, as it tests as somewhere between 9 and 14 carat. It has two little snakes that make up the shank with a head either side of the centre and the tails crossing over at the back. At the centre is a circular disk, which appears to say the word ‘sorry’, though it is rubbed a little. The snakes have a little etching in their heads and the ring has plenty of character. An intriguing ring, ideal alone or in a stack.
