Antique Faceted Garnet Drop
A beautiful statement drop believed to date to the Art Deco period. The drop is a wonderful faceted deep red garnet. It has a lovely teardrop shape with a faceted surface all around the outer. The garnet has a fairly dark appearance, though when it catches the light, the deep red colour can be seen. The drop has a 9ct gold pin through the middle and is held in place by a little seed pearl at the bottom and top. It is complete with a 9ct gold bail.

Age - C1920s
Size - The garnet measures approx 22mm long by 16mm wide. The whole pendant is around 36mm long including the bail.
Condition - Good. A little wear to the facets on the garnet. Some small edge chips, noted for accuracy only and the price has been adjusted accordingly.
Weight - 8.12g pendant only
