Antique French Petite Locket
The most exquisite locket from the early 20th Century. The locket is French in origin and made from 18ct gold. The gold is predominently rose gold with a yellow gold garland in an oval around the centre to the front and the back. The rose gold has a beautiful machine worked pattern engraved into it and the locket has a secure catch with little nail grips to aid opening. Inside there is a bevelled glass that opens on a hinge. This is a common design in French lockets. The attention to detail with this piece is truly exquisite and it looks lovely on a fine chain.
