Vintage Garnet Heart Locket Lock

A lovely lock pendant from the late 20th century, that also has a secret locket back. The lock is made from gold coloured metal, likely brass, and has a sweet little deep red heart shaped garnet to the centre front. The lock has a fairly simple construction and opens on a hinge, clasping into a little loop on the other side. It can be worn on a bracelet or on a chain as pictured. To the back, the panel slides out to reveal a little secret compartment. Ideal for your own keepsake or photo. The back sits securely in place and has a little lip to aid with opening.
