Antique Heart & Blue Bead Necklace

£0.00
sold out

A pretty necklace, which has elements from two different antique periods. It came to me as it is, though it has gold from the Victorian period combined with pretty soft blue glass beads from the Art Deco period. It has a beautiful decorative Victorian heart at the centre with decorative panels either side. The chain part of the necklace alternates between a fancy link 9ct gold element and a section of three blue glass beads. The adaptation has been done expertly and all joins appear to be soldered. Perhaps it was altered in antiquity? The whole piece is lovely quality and this alternative look is exceptionally pretty.

Details:

Materials - 9ct Gold (marked on a chain section, tested), Blue Glass Beads

Age - Victorian/Art Deco

Size - The heart measures around 15mm by 12.5mm. The beads are the widest point and measure approx 5mm wide, whilst the chain is 3mm wide. The necklace is 17” long.

Condition - Very good. The beads show a little wear at the ends, though overall good condition. Noted for accuracy only.

Weight - 16.08g
