Antique Large Moonstone Fan Pendant
What a wonderful piece from the turn of the last century, c1900. This large pendant is made from 15ct gold and set throughout with glorious moonstones that are cabochon cut. It is shaped like a fan and all the moonstones are claw set. There is a wonderful feeling of symmetry across the piece with the adularescence of the moonstones running across all of the gemstones; it makes an incredible statement on the neck. It may well have started life as a buckle of sorts, though it is difficult to know this for sure as it has been converted expertly. A truly wonderful piece!
