Antique Large Picture Locket

sold out

A wonderful locket from the early 20th Century, c1920s. The locket is unusual in that it is made from 18ct rolled gold, which is marked on the back. It is a beautiful large size and has an open bevelled glass circle in the centre that a picture would show through. The central circle is surrounded by a scallop edge dotted alternately with glass turquoise and faux seed pearls. This is always a lovely combination and these are in good condition. To the back, there is a gold door that opens to allow you to add your own photo. The door has a good click to the closure and the size of the locket allows for a decent sized photograph to be added. A lovely piece.

Chains pictured are for display only..
