An absolutely wonderful memorial ring with an inscription with the year 1835. The ring is in wonderful condition and is beautifully made. It is 18ct gold and has been set with a shield shaped piece of onyx at the centre and eleven panels of onyx that follow around the entire shaped band. Each panel is set in a gold frame and the shank is a smooth round on the inside making it very comfortable on the finger. The full inscription inside reads ‘Mr Henry Otley, died 17 Sept 1835. Aged 77 years’. A long life during this period and a stunning ring for his memory. The ring is a really incredible piece and such a stylish statement on the hand now.

Details:

Materials - 18ct Gold (tested), Onyx

Age - Dated 1835

Size - The centre shield measures approx 11.5mm by 10mm. Each panel is around 7mm by 4.5mm

Ring Size - UK M US 6 1/4 This ring cannot be resized
