Antique Paste Solitaire Ring

A wonderful ring from the early 19th Century, c1830s. The ring is made from 9ct gold and has a silver collet setting. The setting holds a stunning rectangular clear paste. The paste is super bright and clear and sits in a closed back setting, which is likely foiled. The paste setting leads to a split shank, which narrows to the back of the shank. Such a delightful ring and so bright on the hand.

Ring Size - UK P US 7 3/4 This ring could be resized a little.

Condition - Very good. Some wear to the facets of the paste, no chips, noted for accuracy only. Evidence of a previous resizing at the back of the shank.
