A lovely little artisan ring from the late Victorian period. The ring is likely French in origin and is made from silver. It is a very fine piece and very light. It has the words ‘porte bonheur’ pressed into the silver around the band and has a textured surface making the letters more prominent. ‘Porte bonheur’ is French for ‘lucky charm’. The ring is a simple band and should be worn with care due to its fineness.
