Antique Snake Knot Ring

£0.00
sold out

A wonderful and fairly chunky snake ring from the early 20th Century, c1920s. The ring is made from 835 silver, marked on the inside of the shank, and is a combination of a snake, puzzle and knot ring. This heady combination of three styles all points to eternal love and commitment. The snake head sits at the centre top and the knot has engraving in the silver to imitate snake skin. This ring may well have started life as a puzzle ring, though this has now been soldered shut at the back and it rests in place. Such a vibrant and fascinating ring.
