Antique Square Belcher Link Chain, 16 1/2"

sold out

A beautiful and simple chain from the late 19th Century. The chain is made form 9ct gold with a little 9ct tab mark near the clasp. It is a lovely, rich antique gold with a very mild rosy hue as is customary of a lot of 9ct gold from this period. The chain has a close link, which is slightly angular in shape and I would describe as somewhere between a box and a belcher link. It is very versatile as it looks beautiful worn alone and is fine enough to work with many pendants too. It is complete with a barrel clasp.

The other chain pictured is not for sale.

Details:

Materials - 9ct Gold (marked)

Age - Late Victorian

Size - The chain is approx 2.1mm wide. It is around 16 1/2” long.

Condition - Very good. Some wear commensurate with age. The barrel clasp is fairly dinged, though is in excellent working order.

Weight - 6.5g
