Antique Steel Locket with Enamel

£120.00

A beautiful and unusual locket from the early 20th century. It seems that the locket is made from steel and has pretty rose gold highlights. The ‘darkness’ of the metal against the lovely shine of the gold is rather striking. The gold picks out a floral design with a little bed of green enamel at the bottom. Inside there are two frames, which can be removed to place your own photos inside. One frame has the original glass. The locket is complete with a 9ct gold bail. I have yet to see another locket quite like this and if you are looking for a real one-of-a-kind piece, this could be it.

The chain pictured is for display only.
