Antiques Rose Diamond Earrings
A lovely pair of earrings from the Victorian period, likely Austrian in origin. The earrings are made from 14kt gold and silver and have remnants of gold stamps on the fittings, though they are difficult to read. They are set with hand cut rose diamonds in cut down collet settings. They are irregular in shape giving them a certain antique charm. There are larger diamonds in the bottom with smaller diamonds to the top. Both are in closed back settings with the bottom silver setting sitting in a gold open claw design. The earrings are finished with dormeuse fastenings making them very secure in the ear.
