Art Deco 9ct Family Locket

£0.00
sold out

A wonderful locket from the beginning of the Art Deco period, dated Birmingham 1919. The locket is made from solid 9ct gold and is hallmarked in various places. It has been made to look like a small pocket watch, but is in fact, a family locket that would hold four photos. There are spaces for photos on the inside back and front, and a glass swivel panel in the centre that could hold two photos, back to back. I have never seen another swivel panel such as this and it has a ‘patent’ stamp on the frame. The locket is in beautiful, original condition and complete with all its frames.

The chain pictured is for display only.
