A gorgeous buckle bangle dated Birmingham 1929. The bangle is made from solid 9ct gold with full English hallmarks. The outer of the bangle has a wonderful machined pattern in the gold; this is a classic style of decoration for gold from this period. It is beautifully made with a hinged buckle that hooks on a little gold ball to keep the bangle in place. The genius of this style is that it has six different size settings. The buckle hinges up and the bangle opens up to allow you to slip it onto your wrist. You can then sit the buckle wherever the appropriate size is for you. Such a lovely piece.
