Art Deco Diamond Fan Ring

£450.00

A pretty ring from the late Art Deco period, c1930s, and possibly Dutch in origin. The ring is a wonderful double fan design with a line of larger diamonds through the centre. The fan sprays out from the centre to both ends and is dotted with little diamonds on each frond. The diamonds appear to be transitional cuts and are set in silver, which highlights them beautifully. The ring looks very elegant on the hand and has a pretty sparkle. It is complete with a 9ct gold shank that has a slightly rosy appearance. Perhaps the shank is a replacement to the original, though it is an excellent match to the design.
