Art Deco Diamond Panel Ring
A stunning ring from the Art Deco period, c1920s. The ring is made from solid 18ct white gold and has a beautifully designed decorative panel to the top. The panels exhibits an exquisite openwork design that is studded throughout with rose cut diamonds. At the centre is a large early brilliant cut diamond measuring approx 5mm in diameter making it just under half a carat. The diamond weight is an estimate based on the mm measurement in the setting. The central diamond is eye clean, around VS clarity, and draws a little colour when viewed through a loupe. Around an I-J in colour as an estimate.
The ring has a beautiful open basket underneath and is in excellent condition. Such a wonderful example of Art Deco design and a real statement on the finger.
