Art Deco Patterned Bangle

£0.00
sold out

A lovely bangle from the late 1920s, dated Birmingham 1928. The bangle has full hallmarks for solid 9ct gold. The gold is distinctly rose in colour and the bracelet is a continuous circle with no clasp. Around the whole circumference, the gold has been engraved with a floral pattern. The pattern is uniform and has a flower at equal stations around the outside. The bracelet has been designed as mildly concave; a pretty and unusual detail.

Details:

Materials - 9ct Rose Gold (full hallmarks)

Age - Dated Birmingham 1928

Size - The bangle is approx 6.1mm wide. It has an internal diameter of 63mm. It is ideal for a small-ish wrist. I have a 6” wrist with a fairly square hand and it is a good bangle fit. Depending on your hand proportions, it would likely fit up to a 6 1/4” as a bangle style (meaning that it sits away from the wrist as is the design).

Condition - Good. Some undulation to the circle when viewed from the side, please see the pictures. Not at all visible when on the wrist.

Weight - 9.1g
