A wonderful pendant from the Art Deco period; a time when Tutankhamun’s tomb was discovered and there was a huge revival of Egyptian motifs in jewellery. This piece is very representative of the era with a wonderful bright green glass scarab at the centre. The scarab is one of the oldest symbols and is said to represent the sun. This lovely design is surrounded by an Egyptian style patterned border of green and gold enamel. The scarab is set in silver, whilst the rest of the pendant is gold coloured metal, finished with a silver bail. The pendant is a lovely large size and would make a fantastic statement on a long chain.

The chain pictured is for display only.
