A wonderful pair of earrings that have been made recently in a style reminiscent of the Georgian era. The earrings are made from silver gilt with a wonderful high carat gold gilding to the outside. The settings have been intricately made with a closed back front portion of the setting holding a wonderful diamond slice. These sit on deeper settings that have a pretty pressed design in the back of the metal. The design resembles a peacock feather and is a pretty way to finish the piece. The diamond slices look to be foil backed giving an extra depth to the gemstone. They have a wonderful flat appearance to the front with a gentle faceted edge. Such a pretty and unusual pair.

Details:

Age - Thought to be late 20th century

Condition - Very good. Some minor nibbles to the stones, noted for accuracy only. A little loss to the gilding on one side of the top of one earring.
