Edwardian 15ct Shield Signet Ring
A wonderful signet ring from the early 20th Century, dated Birmingham 1907. The ring is made from solid 15ct gold and has a full English hallmark on the inside of the shank. The gold has the classic antique rosy tint to it. It has a plain shield design to the centre top with pretty line engraved shoulders. The shield could be engraved by your own engraver if required. The signet is of the highest quality and has a beautiful weight to it. Such a lovely example.

Size - The shield measures approx 13mm by 11mm.
Ring Size - UK O US 7 1/4 This ring has a previous resizing and it would be difficult to resize again.
Condition - Very good. Evidence of a previous resizing on the shoulders. The pictures make it look as though there is a crack there; this area is completely secure and there is no through crack, it is surface level only. The sizing was completed with a lighter coloured gold, probably more modern 9ct. The ring is very substantial and secure.
