A beautiful, large locket from the Edwardian period, dated Birmingham 1911. The locket is made from solid 18ct gold and is in beautiful condition. It has a stunning old mine cut diamond set into the front in a star design. The diamond measures approx 3.2mm in diameter making it around 0.12ct. Accompanying the star is an engraved crescent design. A truly lovely celestial theme. The locket is a lovely large size with full British hallmarks to the back. Inside there is a circular frame to one side that can be removed to place your own photo behind. The frame is also hallmarked with ‘18’ as is the bail. I truly wonderful quality locket.
