Edwardian 18ct Openwork Diamond Pendant

sold out

A stunning pendant from the early 20th Century, c1910s. The pendant is made from 18ct gold that has a very slight rosy flush to it. It has a pretty openwork design with little flower settings, set throughout with old European cut diamonds. There are eleven diamonds in total, eight of which are around 2.8mm in diameter with three slightly smaller ones towards the bottom of the design, plus a smaller diamond set into the bail. They all sparkle beautifully in their settings and draw a little colour giving them a real warmth. The diamond colour is uniform throughout and this piece is beautifully made; it has a real elegance.

The chain pictured is for display only.
