Edwardian 9ct Citrine & Pearl Drop Earrings

£0.00
sold out

A pretty pair of earrings from the Edwardian period, c1905. The earrings are made from 9ct gold and appear to have replacement 9ct hooks, though they came to me as they are. They have beautiful citrines at the bottom, that are oval in shape and perfectly faceted to allow the light to bounce around the stone. They are securely held in a traditional Edwardian setting and the number of claws gives a pretty look to the gemstones overall. These citrines hang on the end of simple stems with a little split seed pearl claw set at the centre.

Details:

Materials - 9ct Gold (tested), Citrines, Pearls

Age - C1905

Size - The citrines measure approx 8mm by 6.5mm. The earrings measure 18.5mm long excluding the hooks.

Condition - Very good. The pearls are oval in shape and one sits portrait, whilst the other is landscape. Noted for accuracy only.

Weight - 1.64g the pair
