Edwardian 9ct Open Link Watch Chain Necklace
A wonderful example of this style of necklace with a slightly alternative open link. The elongated open links are an unusual choice, though this is entirely as intended and the links show little sign of wear. The necklace would have originally been used as a watch chain and is from the early 20th Century. It is made from 9ct gold with a classic antique rosy glow, and each link bears a hallmark. The necklace is complete with two dog clips and a moveable tbar. One dog clip has been added as it has a different makers mark (J.K). The tbar and one dog clip have the makers mark J.G&S and a hallmark from Birmingham. No date letter can be found. A great necklace to add to a stack of necklaces or to be worn alone.
