A wonderful locket from the early 20th Century, c1910s. The locket has a sterling silver frame that holds two beautiful amethyst domes. The amethysts are a lovely purple and have magnificent inclusions within making the whole locket feel like a crystal ball. None of the inclusions are surface reaching and the amethysts have a lovely tactile smooth outer. The locket opens on a hinge and clicks shut firmly meaning that you could add your own momento inside.
