Edwardian Black Opal & Diamond Cluster Ring
An absolutely beautiful and unusual ring from the Edwardian period, c1905. The ring is made form 18ct gold and has the remnants of a full English hallmark. At the centre is a wonderful natural black opal. The opal has an enormous amount of fire and there are constant flashes of colour with greens, reds, blues and oranges. If you are a lover of opals, this is a fine specimen and it is surrounded by a halo of old mine cut diamonds. The diamonds are bright and sparkly and compliment the haunting opal perfectly. The shoulders of the shank exhibit a pretty decoration and the gold is a beautiful rich yellow. A truly lovely ring in excellent condition.
