Edwardian Decorative Fetter Link Chain with Extender, 18"
A gorgeous decorative watch chain necklace from the late Victorian/Edwardian period. The chain appears to be a marriage of antique components exhibiting date letters of 1897, 1903 and 1908 across the pieces. The main element of the chain is a beautiful decorative fetter link with knot links in between. A beautiful chain with lion passant stamps on all the larger links. This chain is a little short to be worn alone at around 13.25”, though it does fit a small neck as a choker.
An extender has been added to lengthen it to 18” in total. The extender is simpler in design, though very much in keeping and from a similar era. This has the latest stamp of 1908. This can be detached with ease and used with other chains if required. A useful addition, also hallmarked with the lion passant on almost every link.
