Edwardian Diamond & Emerald Cruciform Ring

£0.00
sold out

A pretty ring from the early 20th Century, c1915-20. The ring is made from 18ct white gold and platinum, marked on the inside of the shank. It has an interesting cruciform design, which is set with old mine cut diamonds. The diamonds vary in size with a larger centre stone. The central diamond measures approx 4.3mm in diameter and has a real ‘salt and pepper’ quality to it with its clarity being around I2. It appears darker than the others, though it is far from dull and exhibits plenty of play of light. The four outer diamonds vary in quality, though overall they are around J colour, SI clarity. To the four corners, there are four claw set emeralds. These are lovely and bright and are a perfect contrast to the diamonds.

An unusual and lively ring that is very different from the norm.
