Edwardian Elongated Sapphire & Diamond Ring

A stunning ring from the early 20th Century, c1910s. The ring is made from 18ct gold and has a wonderful open work scrolled gallery when viewed from the side. This beautiful mount holds three wonderful natural blue sapphires. The sapphires have a hint of dark and stormy character, whilst also exhibiting a lovely shade of blue. The central stone has been expertly cut in an elongated rounded rectangle. The cut makes this gemstone rather striking and the claws have little rose cut diamond accents. Such a beautiful and unusual ring .

Size - The central sapphire measures approx 9.5mm by 4.5mm. The three sapphires are 12.5mm across in total.

Ring Size - UK L 3/4 US 6. This ring could be resized

Condition - Excellent. Some extremely minor wear to the sapphire facets, noted for accuracy only and only visible through magnification, if at all!
