A lovely, fine bracelet from the early 20th Century, c1910s. The bracelet is made from 9ct gold and has a classic articulated bar link. To the top, a row of alternating natural round cut emeralds and white sapphires sit in rectangular settings. The line of gemstones covers much of the top of the wrist and the bracelet has a secure tongue clasp to the back. There is also a safety chain and an extra catch on the clasp for security. So pretty and elegant.

This bracelet is fairly fine and should be worn with due care. It is not particularly suitable for daily wear.

Details:

Materials - 9ct Gold (tested), Emeralds, White Sapphires

Age - C1910s

Size - The setting measures approx 4mm wide by 52mm long. The bracelet is around 6 1/2” long and fits a 6-6 1/4” wrist well. Please bear in mind that the safety chain is fixed so the bracelet needs to fit over the hand. The safety chain is approx 55mm long. I have fairly wide hands for the size of my wrist (6”) and it fits over.

Condition - Very good. Minimal wear commensurate with age. Emeralds show some inclusions as you would expect from this particular gemstone.

Weight - 4.7g
