Edwardian Flat Cut Garnet Pendant, Boxed

£0.00
sold out

A pretty pendant from the early Edwardian period, c1900s, and made in the Georgian style during a period of revival jewels. The pendant is made from 9ct gold and has closed back settings with beautiful flat cut garnets set throughout. It has little seed pearl chains to either side; the settings of these are a giveaway as to the age, coupled with the redder garnet colour. There is some lovely movement in the piece, particularly highlighted by the three little pear drops at the bottom.

This pendant does have some wear, predominantly noticeable in the damaged pear garnet at the centre and the dings to the back of the domed settings. Despite this, it is a beautiful piece and the price has been adjusted accordingly.

The pendant will come on a 14kt gold fill chain, similar to the one pictured, and will be in the antique presentation box as seen in the photographs.
